Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American television chef and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She is the host of Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef along with being the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, in her Food Network Series Secrets of a Restaurant Cook she demonstrates easy-to-master methods and her signature blonde spiky locks. Chef Burrell was also employed in several of the city's most prestigious restaurants, studied Italian cuisine as well as its traditions. She also competed in Food Network Iron Chef America. As a child in the upstate of New York, Chef Burrell discovered a love for cooking and food at an early age. The Culinary Institute of America was a natural next step for her after she graduated with the Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications in the fall of 2004 from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The student says "I loved being a Culinary Institute of America student. I loved every minute of it." I didn't have enough knowledge, couldn't accomplish enough, and I couldn't put in the effort enough. After graduation, chef Burrell went on to spend one year in Italy taking classes at Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one Michelin-starred restaurant located in Tuscany. While in Italy helped her to understand and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, and has made an impression on her perception of food. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten children who are facing obstacles and is also a Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador. she advocates for children with diabetes and awareness. In her role as an inspirational speaker, she is on the road to promote her love for cooking and food, as well as to talk about her profession in culinary. Through the course of her cooking career, Anne has always said I feel so lucky to be able to share my passion for life with people.
