Aaron Jeffery

Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. Most
well-known is his roles in Water Rats as Terry Watson, Alex Ryan and Matt
Fletcher as Matt Fletcher and Alex Ryan, both from McLeod's Daughters. He was
born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery relocated to Australia at the age of 17 and
enrolled in acting at NIDA. After graduating in 1993 from NIDA He began his
television career on the children's programme Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best
known for his part as Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters that ended in
2008 when he quit the show. He was also a part of the third season New Zealand
drama Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery played Frank in Underbelly: Badness. He
finished filming on 22 June. The next day it was announced that Jeffery was
joining the crew of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. It was announced
that Jeffery was given the role of an officer in corrections on Wentworth in
October. Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also the role he played. In April
2021, it was announced that Jeffery was cast in the upcoming Netflix thriller
series Pieces of Her, which is adapted from the Karin Slaughter novel of the
same title. Jeffery's role on McLeod’s Daughters brought him the Silver Logie
in 2007 and 2004.
