Anna Van Hooft hails from Canada. Her part in the 2007 TV adaptation Flash Gordon as Princess Aura is well known. Anna Grigorievna Semenovich, a Russian model and singer-actress who competed as an ice dancer in the past, is most well known for her role as Princess Aura on the TV show Flash Gordon. She skated early in her career along with Maxim Kachanov. At the Goodwill Games in 1994 they were 5th. Her 1995 team-up along with Vladimir Fedorov was successful. The two of them twice won the Finlandia Trophy, and both participated in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. They placed 15th in the 1998 World Figure Skating Championships. Semenovich and Roman Kostomarov worked together for the duration of 1999 after the partnership was ended. Kostomarov was her partner in 2000. They competed at the Junior World Championships in two consecutive years. They were placed 8th in 1993 and 7th in 1994. She was in 1994 briefly collaborated with Maxim Kachanov. They were fifth at the Goodwill Games. She then was paired together with Vladimir Fedorov. This partnership also proved to be productive, and the two took home the Finlandia Trophy on two occasions as well as competing at the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. The partnership achieved great things but it was their 15th place in the World Championships in 1998 that was the culmination of their relationship.
